Alberto Contador $450 to win $200 Bodog

Going to take my chances despite this horrible odds. Does he lose this to Evans or Schleck? Only if he gets hurt I think, I've seen the last 4 tours and hes simply the best I've ever seen in the mountains.

I posed this question on the main board and I was wondering why the major odds shift on Contador. He was 4/9 at my book for the last week or so and now he is 2/3. A Shlek is now 2/1 after his stage win. Does Shlek have a legit chance of beating Contador or why the major chance in odds?

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Schleck has appeared equal to or stronger than Contador on all the climbs thus far IMO. He also has about a 40 second gap over Contador.

I know Contador is a better TT rider, but the yellow jersey can make you do strange things.

apologize I was away on vacation, well at this point I'm seeing some 1/4 odds for Contandor. Thing is Alberto is the better rider in every facet except with moderate climbs but when it comes to high gradient climbs hes Schleck's equal or superior as he showed on Thursday (when he took back 10 seconds). Now with only a 30 second lead and some huge climbs on the horizon I think Alberto will start putting together some strong performances. Lets not forget next weekend we have the time trial which we expect Alberto to outperform Andy, by how much exactly I'm unsure but I can venture to guess he'll need more than the current 30 seconds (think it might be 31 but you get my drift).

No attack, prepare for Thursdays ultimate showdown. While I don't agree with what Alberto did (and given his reputation is to no surprise), I don't mind what he did haha

Nice day, better than I even expected. Only a crash, a loose chain, or an injury can go wrong with this bet. Just hope for smooth riding on Friday.

So after Alberto matches Schleck on the big mountain day yesterday we all wait for the final test, tomorrow's TT. Lets see if the chain really did cost Andy the title.
